D.A.R.E. envisions a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance use, and other dangerous behaviors.
At Pigeon Forge Intermediate School, our 5th grade students participate in the D.A.R.E. program led by our School Resource Officer. Every year, the students learn about bullying, internet safety, and over-the-counter prescription drug and opiates abuse, among other things. After completion of the program, the students are able to attend Health and Safety Day at the Smokies Stadium which includes a ball game and lunch!
For more information about our D.A.R.E. Program, please feel free to contact Officer McMahan at (865) 366-9100.
