The Sevier County School System is pleased to announce that the Volunteer Chevrolet 16th Annual Smoky Mountain Kick-Off Jamboree will be held at Sevier County High School on Friday, August 14, 2026. The official kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Participating teams will include the Gatlinburg-Pittman High School Highlanders, the Northview Academy Cougars, the Pigeon Forge High School Tigers, the Sevier County High School Smoky Bears, and the Seymour High School Eagles.

The Volunteer Chevrolet 16th Annual Smoky Mountain Kick-Off Jamboree will once again give local football fans an early look at Sevier County’s high school teams as they prepare for the 2026 season. All five county high school football programs will take the field during the annual preseason event, which also will feature performances by each school's cheerleaders, dance teams, and marching bands. Before kickoff, the five high school bands will join together for a special combined performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner," providing a fitting start to the evening's festivities.
